Decorative filigrees for cakes, Swiss rolls, sundaes, mini desserts and other desserts can be made from melted chocolate. Pour the chocolate into the mould, remove any excess chocolate and leave to set. After releasing you can further spray the filigrees with colour spray, which will add luxurious look. You can also use the mould with marzipan, various types of covering and modelling pastes. When set you can colour them with gel paste or liquid colours, lustre effects can be added with lustre dust colours. You can also use colour sprays. Filigrees can be used not only as 3D decorations, but you can also place them on paste-covered cakes and create lace designs.
The mould has four ornaments and it will help you to create interesting decorations on cakes, desserts, chocolate sundaes, gum paste, fondant or marzipan.
Tip for making chocolate filigrees
Melt the chocolate over a water bath, remove any excess chocolate with a spatula and put into fridge and leave to set. Then carefully release the filigrees from the mould and you can start decorating.
If you are going to use marzipan paste, put the mould into the freezer and then release the paste.
